As
a Coach and Consultant, Mary Helms brings a broad perspective
and practical approach to career, human resource and organizational
issues. She has a strong intuitive sense that allows her to
attune to others and build a high degree of trust with coaching
clients.
She
believes that if we are self-aware, have a

understanding of what drives our reactions and responses, we will
see that we have more choices and find deeper meaning in our work
and our lives.
She
offers clients new interpretations and helps them see how moods
and emotions show themselves in their bodies and their language.
EXPERIENCE
AND CREDENTIALS
Human
Resource management experience at INTELSAT, Booz, Allen & Hamilton,
and BDM International have allowed Mary to apply her management
and leadership development skills in the International Consulting
and High Technology arenas. As President and Lead Consultant with
THE RESOURCE GROUP, The Helms International Group, and CoachWise,
she has worked with non-profit organizations and established companies
as well as emerging firms during start-up, expansion and reorganization.
Ms.
Helms is a Certified Ontological Coach through Newfield Network,
having completed Coaching for Professional and Personal Mastery
and their Graduate Program. She has an MS in Personnel and Human
Resource Management from The American University and a Bachelor
of Science in Sociology from George Mason University. She has
held adjunct faculty positions at The American University and
Marymount University. She is an active member of the International
Coach Federation, Society for Human Resource Management, and
HR Leadership Forum. Mary also finds great satisfaction in creating
through volunteer and pro-bono work.
